Moves International ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you send an enquiry, book an appointment, call or email us, or meet a counsellor. This can include:
- your name, email address, phone number and country
- details about your education, work experience, English test results and study goals
- appointment preferences and anything else you choose to tell us
We only ask for what we need to help you. You can choose not to give us some information, but we may then be unable to help with your request.
How we use it
- to respond to your enquiry and arrange appointments
- to give you education and career counselling
- to prepare and submit applications to education providers, and to arrange health cover, when you ask us to
- to send you updates about studying in Australia, only if you have agreed to receive them
- to improve our services and meet our legal obligations
Who we share it with
With your consent, we share relevant information with education providers, Professional Year providers and health insurers you choose to apply to. We use trusted service providers for things like our customer relationship system, email and website hosting. Some of our team and offices are in Bangladesh and Nepal, so your information may be accessed from those countries to help you. We take reasonable steps to make sure anyone we share information with protects it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Website
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you submit a form, your details are sent securely to our customer relationship system so a counsellor can respond. Links to maps and social media open third-party sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access, correction and marketing
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sending you updates, at any time. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
